Roanoke Rapids Christmas Parade

From I-95 NORTH and SOUTH

Take Roanoke Rapids Exit 173
Turn RIGHT at the light if coming from the NORTH I 95 and LEFT at the light if coming from the SOUTH I 95. You will be on Julian Allsbrook Hwy.
Stay on Julian Allsbrook Hwy. in RIGHT LANE for about 1/2 mile.
As you approach the fork STAY in the right hand lane.
Turn RIGHT at the light onto 10th Street (Little Ceasar's will be on your right and Rite Aid will be on your left as you turn Right)
Proceed on 10th St for about 1 mile, to downtown intersection of 10th Street and Roanoke Avenue. Go straight through light at intersection, staying on 10th Street.
Prepare to make a LEFT off of 10th, 6 blocks after crossing over the railroad tracks
Make Left on HENRY ST. (at Church of God) go one block to 11th St., turn LEFT and proceed ahead to check in.

IF YOU ARE A SHRINER UNIT, PROFESSIONAL FLOAT, DIGNITARY, or a GRAND MARSHAL FAMILY:
Take Roanoke Rapids Exit 173
Turn RIGHT at the light if coming from the NORTH I 95 and LEFT at the light if coming from the SOUTH I 95 onto Julian Allsbrook Hwy. Stay in the middle lane.
When you come to the fork STAY on Julian Allsbrook Hwy. (You will go between Walgreens on your left and Rite Aid on your right)
Stay straight on Julian Allsbrook Hwy (about 1 1/2 miles) all the way to where it ends at Roanoke Ave.
Turn right onto the Avenue and straight ahead you will be directed where to go. You will be lining up on Roanoke Avenue between 12th and 13th streets, ( if you have a personal vehicle, you will be parking it in this general area and walking to your float or parade entry.)

Directions for local residents with entries in the parade. PLEASE share these directions with ANYONE who will be a part of your entry.

If arriving from Roanoke Avenue and 10th street intersection:

If you are coming from the direction of Thelma Rd

Proceed down 10th street and turn right at Henry Street (at the Church of God) and
proceed to 11th and turn left
proceed ahead to check in station.
